Bear in mind that our ICC profiles are exclusively intended for Softproofing in Photoshop or Lightroom; the profile must not be embedded in the file under any circumstances.
First, you must download the corresponding profile for your product. You can find our ICC profiles here, in ZIP format.
1. Install the profile
When you have downloaded the file, please unzip it and import the profile:
2. Softproof setup
Import the image that you want to preview in Photoshop. The soft proofing dialog can be opened through "View -> Proof Setup -> Custom".
You can adjust the setup in the dialog "Customise Proof Condition". You can select the ICC profile you need in the field "Device to simulate".
It is important to adjust the settings correctly. Each product has its own profile. Please, click on the following link to find out more about the ICC profiles available and the correct setups: an overview of ICC profiles
When you have adjusted the setup, click on "OK". Alternatively, you can also click on "Save" so that the setup will be saved next time you open the dialog.
3. Start soft proofing
Through the option "View -> Proof Colors", you can now view the image with or without profile. Alternatively, you can activate or deactivate the profile through the shortcut "ctrl + Y" (Windows) or "cmd + Y" (macOS).
Please note that the profiles for some of our products, like Wall Decor and Cards, are CMYK, which will only be simulated! You have to send us your images in RGB regardless.
If necessary, you can make amendments to your images under the soft proofing view.
4. Save the final image
If you are satisfied with the colours of your images, you can save them and use them in our Saal Design software. Please, do not embed the ICC profile into your image files.
